Panasonic PT-AX100U Review
Panasonic brought the Panasonic PT-AX100U projector for a demonstration Sept. 7, 06, and everyone was shocked with how bright the projector is while maintaining a high contrast level. The room was well lit with florecent lighting and picture detail was stunning. The pictures were taken with the flash on and the image on the screen was bearly washed out. The Panasonic PT-AX100U is almost twice as bright as the Panasonic PT-AE900U. The image quality seemed quite sharper on the PT-AX100U over the PT-AE900U projector. We played some HD soccer with the room completely lit and we felt like we were watching the 103" Panasonic Plasma. The Panasonic PT-AX100U projector is much more user friendly than the PT-AE900U projector, with a push of a button the image would calibrate for a dark or light room. A favorite feature of ours added to the Panasonic PT-AX100U projector is the "Daylight View Technology." The Daylight View Technology is used on the Panasonic presentation projectors. What the Daylight View Technology does for the Panasonic PT-AX100U projector is senses the light in the room and calibrates the colors to the environment. This feature can be turned on, off, auto, or manual to use it in your calibration adjustments.
